Most American families take the kitchen as the centre of their homes. That’s the last place they stay before heading up to bed and that’s the first thing they go to after waking up hungry in the morning. Throw in cooking and other meal preparation time, snack-making and other stuff and the kitchen indeed is like the sun in the solar system. Mine is beginning to lose its planets.

Lately my family is staying away from the kitchen and is making all sorts of reasons just to stay away from it. Well the place indeed is beginning to look like hell. Plaster from the wall is starting to flake off and wooden cabinets are worn out with the wood starting to decay. The whole place stinks with decaying wood and used oil. Eeww! The makeover is amazing. I couldn’t recognize the kitchen myself. It’s like so clean and new and modern. No more pushing hard the drawers back in or cockroaches running around and nor more bad smell.
