Different types of rapid prototypes machines are used for different materials. For instance, if you are using Selective laser sintering prototyping technology then base material will be metals powder in order to get required shape. On the other hand, fused disposition modeling needs thermoplastics and eutectic metals. Laminated operate manufacturing is best for paper material. Various materials are used for three dimensional printing. Electron beam melting needs titanium alloys whereas, SLA requires photopolymer.
Each of above mentioned technologies has their strengths. However, all are world fastest rapid prototype building tools that cut away material in the course of machining, which is subtractive. Rapid prototyping is the procedure used to create products by the use of cutting edge technology that lets a physical object to be shaped by adding a material layer by layer until the required form is completed.
Rapid prototypes have resulted in their extensive use as a technique to trim down time to market in built-up. These days, systems are greatly used by engineers to enhance understanding and communicate their product designs. Over and above, to make rapid tooling to produce those item for consumptions. Moreover, artists, architects, Surgeons and individuals from countless industries are using rapid prototyping technology.
Field of rapid prototyping is vast as different processes are being used by different industries such as SLA for stereo lithography apparatus, fused deposition modeling, SLS, laminated object manufacturing, three dimensional printing and inkjet-based systems. You can easily become familiar with world’s fastest rapid prototype technology by the help of internet. The technology is extremely beneficial as it has decreased the time from many days to just few hours.

Among the technologies you use for to create the worlds fastest rapid prototype, the FDM method is very popular and stands only second to stereolithography. In this process you unwound a filament made of plastic from the coil. In this way materials are supplied to the extrusion nozzle.
The nozzle is thereafter exposed to heat for melting the plastic. A mechanism is put in place to ensure that the molten plastic flow can either be turned on or turned off depending on the requirements. For this purpose a mechanical stage is used. The nozzle is mounted on the stage. The stage can be moved either vertically or horizontally.
When this nozzle is moved on top of the table following the specified geometrical patterns, a thin bead of extruded plastic is deposited there. This thin plastic deposit forms each of the layers in the prototype object. Apropos to its nature the plastic immediately hardens coming out of the nozzle and it bonds with the layer immediate below it. A chamber is also used to contain the entire system. Temperature of the chamber is maintained at just below the point at which the plastic would melt.
Divergent types of materials including ABS and casting wax are used. Recently the polycarbonate as well as the polysulfone has both been used to the material lists. Techniques like the SLS white through which you can make small or large parts using either plastic or nylon materials helps achieve quality and durability.

One of the questions that are often raised in the user circle is “do I really require the rapid prototypes?” At the same time there are critics who consider rapid prototyping a misnomer. They do not believe in the concepts like the worlds fastest rapid prototype. For them rapid prototyping is just another technology to mimic the original with some specific business objectives.
Yes it is a misnomer. But it is not the concept of rapid prototyping that is a misnomer. On the contrary the objections to this exceptionally brilliant technology are the real misnomers. A look at the basic characteristics of rapid prototypes will clear the doubts in your mind. Normally rapid prototyping is controlled by the additive fabrications derived using the computers. Once you comprehend clearly the process of adding materials making it the part or full of an object replica, the bits start falling in place. You can easily assess whether the prototype produced will help improve your application or it would be better to avoid them.
Another argument that is advanced by the critics borders on absurdity. To them additive fabrication is never better than the traditional subtractive methods. Prototypes cannot become the complete replacements, they argue. In such argument they refer to the exceptional standards reached over the years by milling, turning, EDM and such other subtractive methods.
Unfortunately the critics fail to notice the evolution experienced by the process of rapid prototyping. The technique has reached a stage where you can Upload your STL file today and receive your part tomorrow. This is something beyond the reach of the traditional method. You cannot compete manually with computer after all.

There was a time when wooden model ships and wooden model boats were the fashion of the day. Beautifully carved models of existing ships and boats as well as imaginary creation of exceptionally skilled artists and designers dominated the scenario. Initially crude in their making, gradually these model ships and boats became objects of rare craftsmanship. Exquisite replicas of ships and boats were made of rare woods like Tick, Mahogany, and Rosewood to quote a few.
Gradually it dawned over the architects and builders that construction of model ships and boats with wood was not only a costly affair but also not time economic. A good deal of effort was required and there were many instances where the artist or craftsman had to spend hours together in building such models. In the modern fiercely competitive commercial world, time is valued and equated with money and therefore the builders were in the look out for alternatives to wood as model ship building material.
Next to appear on the scene was plastic. It had several advantages over wood. Plastic was light and it could be formed into pre-constructed parts of a model ship or model boat. But plastic could not produce the shining demeanor of wooden models.
Manufacturers now started building model ships and model boats with metals like bronze, brass, copper, and silver. They could be designed imaginatively that was not very much possible with plastic. Finally, like many other industries, fiber has entered the fray of late.
