Finding Discount Office Supplies To Help Save Money

I kept receiving these emails from this discount office supplies company and I always just deleted them since I was not in charge of ordering our office supplies. I did not really care how much money we spent or how much could be saved by switching to a different company.
Then one day, during our weekly sales meeting, my boss explained that if we did not find ways to but the budget that we would start having to make personnel cuts. I knew that since I was the last one hired in that it was possible that I would be the first one cut. I raised my hand to suggest that we start looking for cheaper office supplies. My boss liked that idea and told me to look into it.
Since I knew that I would be able to look up the discount office supplies site and their prices right away, I told her that I would have it to her by the end of the day. There were four other people that had great suggestions to save money and I hoped that each of them followed through with it so That I could keep my job.
It just so happened that by changing companies for our office supplies that my company was able to save three hundred dollars every month. There have been no other talks about cutting personnel since then.
