I have never had to file a claim with any car insurance companies until earlier this year. I had a little accident uptown with another person here in the community. Actually it was my old fifth grade teacher. I felt really bad for hitting them from behind. I was messing with my radio and before I knew it, it was too late to even think about stopping.

I know that he was not too upset about it but I still felt very badly about it. I am grateful that I had shopped around for good car insurance rates just before that but had not yet switched because that would not have looked good to switch car insurance companies and then have a claim right away.

I might just find a new car insurance company now that this claim is all settled and has been for awhile now. I do know that I drive much more carefully now and I do not mess around with the car radio or my cell phone or anything while driving.

I think I had gotten to comfortable driving and I forgot that it is actually a privilege to drive and I should treat it that way. Way too many accidents are avoidable if people just pay more attention while they are driving
